Cambria Exterior Spaces are an exterior build & design company based in south east London. We specialise in building bespoke outdoor spaces, covering everything from timber to trees (and back again).

Cambria Exterior Spaces began as a side project for its founders, Christian and Bede, who felt there wasn’t enough communication between Landscapers, Tree Surgeons and Carpenters when working in outdoor spaces. Noticing that many outdoor spaces weren’t quite reaching their potential, largely due to this lack of cohesion, they decided to combine their respective areas of expertise (carpentry/design & garden/trees) and do something about it.

Bede has been working in tree surgery for the last 6 years as a groundsman. While working in people’s gardens, clients kept enquiring if he could turn his hand to fencing, decking and other exterior builds. Never to miss an opportunity, Bede thought of Christian and his background in carpentry - and Cambria Exterior Spaces was born…

Having worked as an English teacher for five years, Christian eventually decided to return to his background in carpentry, where he’d always been happiest. When he got that first call from Bede, he’d been working independently on exterior builds (cabins, studios, etc) and immediately loved the idea. It blended his love for trees, carpentry and realising the potential of outdoor spaces.
